Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy is usually caused by a problem that affects the development of a baby's brain while it's growing in the womb. Damage to part of the brain called white matter, possibly as a result of a reduced blood or oxygen supply which is known as periventricular leukomalacia.

Dementia

Dementia is the loss of cognitive functioning — thinking, remembering, and reasoning — to such an extent that it interferes with a person's daily life and activities. Some people with dementia cannot control their emotions, and their personalities may change.

Stroke Treatment

There are two main causes of stroke: a blocked artery (ischemic stroke) or leaking or bursting of a blood vessel (hemorrhagic stroke). Some people may have only a temporary disruption of blood flow to the brain, known as a transient ischemic attack (TIA), that doesn't cause lasting symptoms.

Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. Symptoms usually begin gradually and worsen over time. People may have difficulty walking and talking.

Peripheral neuropathy, a result of damage to the nerves located outside of the brain and spinal cord, often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet. It can also affect other areas and body functions including digestion, urination & circulation.
